The Green Cleaning Coach: Green Cleaning Kit Review + Giveaway {U.S.}

Using natural cleaning products is important for my family. I have two daughters with excema and they require body soap, shampoo, laundry detergent and other natural products around the home to keep their flare ups under control. Although we currently use a prescription cream for my youngest daughter {which does wonders for her skin}, nothing else I use on either of my girls has any chemicals involved. The Green Cleaning Coach has some great new products and a book, “The Joy of Green Cleaning” that adds a “greener” aspect to the home.

The Green Cleaning Kit I received included an eco sponge which uses friction instead of chemicals to remove soap scum in your shower and cleans sinks and countertops. The sponge can be used for other daily cleaning projects around the home. The kit also included a blue cloth that is great for washing windows, countertops, appliances and more. You simply use water and the cloth will clean without streaks, rather than adding a chemical into the mix. I typically use a cheap glass cleaner, but water is cheaper and much easier to deal with. I also received a green cloth that is great for dusting corners around  the house and can be lightly spritzed with water to dust more heavily soiled areas {the scary area under my couch}.

The Joy of Green Cleaning is a book that puts the cherry on top of all the items I tried. There are many recipes for natural cleaning products, including a green cleaning scrub {which is included in the Green Clean Starter Kit that you can purchase for $49}. If you have unknown issues with itching or have noticed allergies that you can’t figure out, it could quite possibly be what you are using to clean in your home. Natural products are so much easier and better to to deal with.

As you can {or can’t} see from the photo of my front door, the blue cloth did as good of a job as my typical window cleaner. I wouldn’t say it is perfectly streak free, but it is definitely efficient for my needs. The only photo I could take was after dark so I know it’s difficult to see. The Green Cleaning Kit can be purchased at the Green Cleaning Coach shop. The Green Cleaning Coach has been featured on Martha Stewart Living Radio and on ABC. I also got a small sample of hand cream from the Just Bee… collection, a special line of hand care products and cleaning essentials. It’s a great way to keep your hands soft after all that cleaning {Water dries my skin out!}.

One lucky reader will win the green cleaning kit that I received. The giveaway is open to U.S. residents and ends on 2/21. Please enter on the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
