{Holiday Gift Guide} Shari’s Berries Review + $50 Gift Code Giveaway {U.S.}

I could write this review in one word. That word is AMAZING. However, I will give you the juicy, chocolate, delicious details of the wonderful products I tried from Shari’s Berries. First I will tell you a little bit about the company. Shari’s Berries offers many delectable gifts for special occasions, including chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, cakes and more! These are perfect gifts for a wedding anniversary, Mother’s Day, Christmas party or birthday event. They even have local gift basket delivery for select cities which is perfect if you are trying to surprise a loved one.

The company graciously sent me the Cheesecake Trio and Gourmet Dipped Swizzled Berries (starts at $29.98) to try. This package includes three cheesecakes, including classic New York, white chocolate and chocolate Rocky Road along with strawberries dipped in white, milk, and dark chocolates. I was immediately at the door when the package arrived and extremely eager to rip it open and dig in, but I waited until my husband came home from work so he could indulge in the goodies as well.

Each package came wrapped inside a box with thick, thermal packaging. It also included an ice pack to maintain the freshness.

We tried the strawberries first. As you can see from the picture above, they are really good-sized strawberries. I tried the white chocolate first. The chocolate was great, but the strawberry inside had such a powerful flavor it almost drowned out the white chocolate. The strawberries are incredibly juicy, so much that one actually dripped on my shirt. The milk chocolate was my favorite. It had more of an equal taste of both chocolate and strawberry. I would be ecstatic to receive this package as a gift for any holiday!

Cheesecake is my all-time favorite dessert, so I was soon ready to dig into the cute little cakes {yes, we finished this package in one night…I’ll use the excuse that our anniversary is October 9th} after trying the strawberries. I went with white chocolate first and then the classic New York. Both were amazing, but the Rocky Road – WOW! I am not a huge fan of too much chocolate in a cake, but this had just the right amount. It was delicious and I would definitely go with Rocky Road if I had to choose one out of the three.

Overall I am very impressed with Shari’s Berries. The customer service is as equally awesome as the treats. The representative I dealt with was timely, friendly, and very easy to work with. Shipping was right on point. Shari’s Berries has so much more to offer than just berries and cheesecake, so be sure to keep them in mind if you are trying to think of a unique Christmas gift.
